BASIC STEPS TO START BROADCASTING
on the Spirit Word Channel
1. An acceptable Camera(s) and correct audio for broadcasting:
- At least 3CCD or CMOS Chip processing quality Camera
- HDV / Mini DV Format (Preferably not DVD Recording)
- Separate or External Microphone Source (Build-in Mic Not Allowed!)
- Via: Cordless Lapel Kit (Example: Samson Presentation Kit - Model AL1/AM1)
- External Sound Mixer with correct cabling…
2. Get your program content edited as required (Including Theme: Intro, Titling & Credits)
- Make use of an existing editing house for editing
- Do your own editing:
- You will need at least a Pentium 4 computer
(At least 1-2GB RAM, +-250GB SATA Storage, Win XP Pro + 1 Firewire Port)
- Editing Software - We recommend Canopus Edius Pro for support
(Other professional products will also be accepted like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier)
3. Send us a sample tape for screening:
- Length: Exactly 28 Minutes!
- Video, Audio & Color Quality must be accepted… (See point 1.)
- Sound Doctrine
Note: You can send your sample tape using a courier service.

4. After acceptance of sample tape, you can start broadcasting once at least 6 programs have been submitted to the Channel. Also remember that all programs are quality controlled and all new programs must be submitted 14 days prior to the broadcast date.
